Founded by Tariq Maqbool, our mission is to bring about structural changes to the oppressive criminal justice / prison systems of America. Towards that endeavor, I truly believe that it will require overwhelming public support. For that much, we must change the hearts & minds, and that can only be achieved by speaking the truth, & defining our own narratives & telling our stories. Thus, Captive Voices is a platform for the incarcerated, their families, well wishers and all who are striving to bring about a positive change for human rights in this country & beyond. We are here to help, assist, aid, and train you towards that goal. Join & support us, and be a catalyst for change!
